This Privacy Policy explains what information InstaNameStyle (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit instanamestyle.tech (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Text you type into the generator

The styles are generated in your browser. The text you type is not sent to or stored on our servers. To make the Site more convenient, the last text you entered may be saved in a cookie in your own browser (see section 2).

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services described below may automatically receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, language, referring page, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. We use this to operate the Site, keep it secure and understand how it is used.

Information you send us

If you email us at instanamestyle.tech@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond to you.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect names, addresses, payment details or other sensitive personal information.

2. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We set a few first-party cookies that make the generator work the way you expect. They hold preferences, not personal details:

Last text entered so your name is still there when you return (up to 7 days).
Font size preference for the style cards (up to 7 days).
Favourite styles you mark with the heart button (up to 7 days).
Infinite scroll on/off preference (up to 7 days).

Our advertising and analytics partners may also set their own cookies or use similar technologies, described in section 4. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking them may stop some conveniences from working, but the generator will still function.

3. How we use information

To provide, maintain and improve the Site and its features.
To remember your preferences.
To measure usage and fix technical problems.
To show advertising that helps fund the free service.
To prevent abuse, fraud and invalid ad activity, and to protect the Site.
To respond to your messages and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money.

4. Advertising and third parties

We may display advertisements served by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense and Microsoft Advertising. These companies may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this Site and/or other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can manage Microsoft advertising preferences at Microsoft ad settings.
You can also opt out of many third-party vendors’ personalised advertising at aboutads.info (US), youronlinechoices.com (Europe) or optout.networkadvertising.org.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: where required by law, we request your consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used, through a consent management tool. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link on the Site where available, or by clearing your cookies. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised ads.

Third-party advertisers and networks have their own privacy policies, and we do not control their cookies or practices.

5. Other third-party services

To deliver the Site we use some external services, which receive your IP address and basic request data when your browser loads their resources:

Google Fonts for the fonts used on the pages (Google Privacy Policy).
cdnjs (Cloudflare) to deliver the jQuery code library (Cloudflare Privacy Policy).
Our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs.
Analytics tools, if and when we enable them, to count visits and understand which pages are useful. If we do, they will collect aggregated usage data only.

The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. We describe them here for everyone, whatever your location.

Access, correction and deletion: ask what personal data we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted.
Objection and restriction: object to or limit certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
Portability: request your data in a portable format where applicable.
Complaint: lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

EEA/UK (GDPR): we process data based on our legitimate interests (running and securing the Site), your consent (advertising cookies and similar technologies where required), and legal obligations.

California and other US states: you may have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for money, but sharing identifiers with advertising partners to show targeted ads can count as “sharing” under some state laws. You can opt out through the ad settings links in section 4 or with a browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting; there is no common standard for responding to it, so we do not respond to those signals except as described here.

To exercise any right, email instanamestyle.tech@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by law.

7. Children’s privacy

The Site is a general-audience tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please email instanamestyle.tech@gmail.com and we will delete it. We do not intentionally show personalised ads to users we know to be children.

8. Retention, security and transfers

Cookies set by us expire after the periods listed above. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable record-keeping. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.

We use reasonable technical measures, such as HTTPS, to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Our service providers and advertising partners may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, they rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
